Working Out My Competitors

With a new direction for my book I wanted to see what competitors it would be against if it was to be launched onto the market.

While researching climate change books I found lots of academic books, these three books being the best sellers on climate change.

SIMILAR BOOKS
One book that is similar as it's an imagery book is a children's book  call "The Last Little Polar Bear" it's about a polar bear struggling through the change of the climate.
The book has drawing in it on struggles the polar bear faces.

Although this is similar to my book as it has images on the effects and impacts causing climate change, they are drawings and only about the effects on the polar bear.

Within the photography world I did find a book based on Water by Bernhard Edmaier. It's based on different forms off water from all over the world.

This book is similar as it touches on climate change though imagery however it's showing it on the earth and is only based on water.

ABOUT MY BOOK

My book will be a coffee table book based on the impacts and effect climate change is having on our earth however to make these more artistic I want to show each of the effect on the human body. As climate change is not just effecting the earth but it will sure effect us as well. 

I feel my book is unique to the market as there isn't anything like this yet. I want to show an important topic and have people talking about it without shoving it down their throats. My book does have some competitors that are just photography based, however I feel my target audience will all have people interested in fashion as well as people interested in Climate Change.
